A team of teachers and staff from Clavering Primary School in Hartlepool have set themselves a 26-mile challenge to raise funds for the children's at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The group plans to trek the historic Cleveland Way from Robin Hood’s Bay to Saltburn within 12 hours.

The money raised will support the hospital's play specialists, who help young patients manage the stress of medical procedures and hospital stays. The funds will go toward purchasing new toys, activity equipment, and developmental resources for the ward.

Teacher Matthew Stoddart said the school is committed to supporting local healthcare and ensuring children have access to the best possible care. The effort reflects the school's work to promote the rights of the child, including the right to play while receiving medical .
