A November night at Stockton Globe will do a little more than put two long-running names in British music on the same .
Squeeze will play the Globe on Tuesday 17 November, with Billy Bragg joining them as special guest. The Stockton date forms part of Squeeze’s 2026 tour following the announcement of their studio album Trixies.
For every ticket sold, £1 is being directed to Music Venue Trust, the charity working to protect and improve music venues across the UK. Stockton Globe says the contribution is intended to help keep smaller venues open, support artists on tour and invest in the future of live music.
That gives the Stockton date an interesting link to the wider live-music ecosystem. Big touring shows and grassroots rooms often sit at very different ends of the industry, but the artists who eventually theatres and arenas usually start somewhere much smaller.
The donation is part of the wider tour rather than a Stockton-only arrangement. Other venues on the tour also confirm the £1 contribution, and music press coverage of the announcement reports that Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook has become a patron of Music Venue Trust.
Stockton Globe lists doors at 7pm and tickets from £38.22, with a separate transaction fee. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets and current venue information are available from Stockton Globe. The tour’s Music Venue Trust contribution is also independently reported by NME.
