A Stockton-born singer is bringing a full 10-piece live band back to her home town for a September headline show.

Marina Josephina performs at ARC Stockton on Friday 18 September at 8pm, with support from Frannie Mac and fellow Stockton artist Tamara Aliyaah.

ARC describes Josephina’s sound as a blend of jazz, soul, R&B and neo-soul, built around live instrumentation and personal songwriting. Her work has received support from BBC Introducing, Tees Music Alliance, Generator, Sonic Futures and PRS Foundation.

She has previously shared a stage with Alexander O’Neal and appeared at festivals including Kendal Calling and Soundwaves Festival.

Tickets are listed from £16 including booking fee, with the show open to ages 14 and over. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. ARC also operates a companion ticket scheme where a companion is required for access.

Full details and current ticket availability are on ARC Stockton’s website.
