Redcar is spending this weekend on a ska beat as Blam Blam Fever 8 brings four days of live music and DJs to the town.
The event began on Thursday 3 September and runs until Sunday 6 September. Its official ticket listing describes it as a four-day ska event featuring bands and DJs from the UK, Europe and the USA.
Coatham Hall is the main venue listed by the organisers, while the event artwork also points to Ennis Square Social Club and other venues around Redcar town centre.
Doors are listed from noon, with music beginning at 12.15pm. The weekend is for over-18s.
Among the acts confirming an appearance are North East 2 Tone-inspired band The Skapones, whose own gig listings place them at Coatham Memorial Hall on Saturday 5 September.
Weekend tickets were still listed at £49.50 including booking fee when The Tees checked, with a Saturday-only ticket at £27.50 including booking fee. Availability can change, so anyone travelling should check the organiser's latest listing before setting off.
Blam Blam Fever has become a regular fixture for ska fans in Redcar, and this year's edition again spreads the event beyond a single performance slot into a full weekend in the town.
