Peter Rabbit is heading out of the vegetable patch and into the grounds of Kirkleatham Museum this Saturday.
Quantum Theatre will bring its outdoor adaptation of The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny to Redcar on 29 August, with two performances planned across the day.
The morning show starts at 11am, with gates opening at 10am. A second performance follows at 2.30pm, with gates opening at 1.30pm. The production is adapted by Michael Whitmore from Beatrix Potter’s stories and is designed as an outdoor family show, so blankets and picnics are very much part of the plan.
Tickets listed by Enjoy Redcar & Cleveland are £15 for adults and £10 for children aged 0 to 16, with a £47 family ticket covering two adults and two children.
There is one slightly confusing detail on the event page: its header displays midnight. The detailed programme information gives the actual performance times as 11am and 2.30pm, and Quantum Theatre’s own listing confirms both of those times. Those are the times The Tees has used.
