People across Stockton-on-Tees are being asked what life in the borough is really like, with the answers set to help shape future council priorities and services.
The Let’s Talk Residents Survey 2026 is open to residents aged 18 and over. It asks about areas including health and , quality of life, safety, local communities and council services.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council says the survey should take around 10 minutes. The findings will be used to understand what is working well, where residents think things need to improve and how local services and future plans can respond.
It also gives the council a way to track how people’s experiences have changed since the previous residents survey in 2024.
There are several ways to take part. Residents can complete the survey online, collect a paper version from a local library, or request a paper copy or alternative format from the council.
The council has also been taking its Thriving Communities bus around the borough as part of the wider Let’s Talk approach, designed to hear directly from residents and community organisations.
: Details have been checked against Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s announcement of 17 August 2026.
