Community groups across Teesside have a few days left to apply for small grants designed to bring people together across faiths and beliefs.

The Inter Faith Week 2026 Microgrant Scheme has reopened specifically for the North East after organisers received fewer applications from the region than elsewhere.

Grants of £250 are available for smaller or first-time activities, with £500 grants for larger collaborative projects. The money can support ideas including shared meals, workshops, panel discussions, peace walks, youth-led activities and community events during Inter Faith Week, which runs from 8 to 15 November.

Local interfaith groups, community organisations, youth groups, schools and workplaces can apply. The Faith & Belief Forum says it is particularly interested in projects that new audiences and involve collaboration.

Applications close on Monday 31 August. The deadline and funding levels have been checked against the funder’s own live application page as well as Catalyst Stockton’s local funding notice.
