Hopetown Darlington is opening after dark this Halloween for a family evening of ghost trains, fire performers, music and trick-or-treating across the railway site.
Haunted Night at the Museum takes place on Friday 30 October from 6pm to 9pm. Hopetown says the site will be dressed for Halloween, with walkaround characters, a Ghost Train, Trick or Treat Trail, fire performances, a Monster Mash Silent Disco and live music among the activities planned.
The evening will also include what Hopetown describes as the “Terror-fying Tornado” in the locomotive works and other entertainment around the site. Its Experiment! ride will be running during the event for an additional £5 per passenger.
General tickets cost £5 per person aged three and over. They can be booked online through Hopetown or in person at the Welcome Desk in the Goods Shed.
The event forms part of Hopetown’s wider Spooktown programme across the October half-term, which includes family activities and Halloween-themed events around the Darlington attraction.
Full details and booking information are available from Hopetown Darlington.
