The music of The Carpenters is coming to Darlington Hippodrome next week in a live tribute show led by performers with West End experience.

A Tribute to The Carpenters takes place on Thursday 3 September at 7.30pm. The production features The British Carpenters, with Sally Creedon performing the role of Karen Carpenter and a live band led by musician Gordy Marshall.

The show draws on the duo’s catalogue rather than trying to turn the evening into a biographical drama. Darlington Hippodrome lists a running time of around 140 minutes.

Tickets were listed between £21.50 and £37 when checked, with the venue noting that its prices include the restoration levy and booking fee. Members can receive a 10% discount.
