Irish dance and urban tap meet on the same Darlington stage next week as Adam Garcia’s Emerald Storm arrives at the Hippodrome.
The new production starts at 7.30pm on Thursday 10 September and combines dancers and live musicians in a show co-created by stage and screen performer Adam Garcia.
Rather than treating Irish dance as a museum piece, the production mixes its footwork and rhythms with urban tap and contemporary staging. Darlington Hippodrome describes the result as a new dance production built around rhythm, movement and live sound.
The performance is expected to run for around one hour and 45 minutes. Standard tickets currently range from £29 to £39 depending on seating area.
