Around 70 representatives from local firms met at Rockliffe Hall in Darlington to discuss the benefits of new air connections from Teesside International Airport. The event, organised by Tees Valley Business Club, featured insights from airport representatives ahead of the service launch.

A twice-daily service to London City Airport is set to begin on April 27, marking the return of flights to the capital after an 11-year absence. The route is part of a wider expansion by Eastern Airways, which includes additional flights to destinations such as Dublin, Belfast City, and Southampton.
