If your Bank Holiday Sunday needs a little more sequins and a lot more ABBA, Walworth Castle has an answer.

The historic hotel near Darlington is hosting ABBA on the Terrace today, Sunday 30 August, with Absolutely ABBA performing live from 3pm to 5pm.

The wider event runs from 2pm until 6pm. Alongside the tribute set, the castle will have its Tiki Bar open until 6pm and a barbecue menu available to buy on the day.

It is an adults-only event for people aged 18 and over, with unallocated seating and standing. Tickets are £25 per person and include entry and the live performance, while food and drinks are bought separately.

The organisers have also planned for the British weather. The performance is intended to take place outside on the terrace, but Walworth Castle says it will move indoors if poor weather makes that necessary.

The event takes place at Walworth Castle Hotel, Walworth, Darlington, DL2 2LY.
