Redcar Racecourse’s richest meeting of the season returns on Saturday 3 October, with a £150,000 Listed race at the centre of the card and free admission for under-18s.

The William Hill Two-Year-Old Trophy is the headline event, joined by the EBF Guisborough Stakes, the Marske Fabrication & Engineering Straight Mile Series Final and four supporting races.

For families, the racecourse is continuing its policy of allowing under-18s into both enclosures free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

The biggest card of Redcar’s season

The Two-Year-Old Trophy is one of the fixtures Redcar builds its season around. The current racecourse programme also lists live music from Elena Larkin and stilt walkers as part of the day’s entertainment, although final gate and race times are still to be confirmed.

Advance Grandstand Enclosure tickets are currently listed at £19, rising to £21 at the gate. Course Enclosure tickets are £8 in advance and £9 on the day. The advance-price deadline is 30 September.

The official visitor listing still displays some older “super saver” prices whose deadlines have already passed. Those have not been presented here as current offers.

The meeting takes place at Redcar Racecourse on Saturday 3 October. Exact opening and first-race times are due to be confirmed closer to the date.
