The music of Motown is getting a live-band celebration in Middlesbrough this September.

Legends of Motown comes to Middlesbrough Theatre on Saturday 12 September, with a set drawing on songs artists including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, The Temptations and Jimmy Ruffin.

The touring tribute production combines singers with a live band and is built around the catalogue that helped define the Motown label.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the performance begins at 7.30pm. Tickets are currently listed at £27 including the booking fee, with limited availability shown by Middlesbrough Box Office.
