Redcar and Cleveland’s first 60kW rapid public electric vehicle chargers are now live at Fountain Street East car park in Guisborough.
The chargers were installed and are operated by Believ, which has also added public charging points in Eston, Brotton, Skelton, Loftus and Redcar.
Further installations are planned for Saltburn, Kirkleatham and Carlin How. The expansion is part of the borough’s wider move towards lower-carbon transport, while residents can also other locations for consideration as the network grows.
