Daisy Chain is opening the gates of its Norton farm for a free bank holiday festival on Monday, giving families a full day of music, animals, games and activities while supporting the charity’s work with autistic and people.
Daisy Fest runs from 10am to 4pm on Monday 31 August at Calf Fallow Farm on Calf Fallow Lane. Entry is free, with tokens available to buy on the day for some attractions.
The charity has lined up live entertainment, summer stalls, giant inflatables and children’s games, alongside farm tours and talks. Visitors will also be able to meet some of the animals at the site, including pigs, alpacas and horses.
It is an unusually broad sort of family day out. There is no ticket price at the gate and people can decide how much or how little they want to do once they arrive.
Daisy Chain has been based at Calf Fallow Farm for more than two decades and provides support for autistic and neurodivergent children, young people, adults and families across the Tees Valley and beyond. Its work includes family support, social groups, activity, employability programmes and services for children and young people.
The charity says more details about individual stallholders and performers will continue to be shared through its event updates.
