Sparkling Performances Light Up Billingham’s Theatre Upstairs

Billingham is set to dazzle with Starlight Nights, a vintage variety show by Charm Productions, hosted at Theatre Upstairs.

This event, a nostalgic journey through Hollywood and Broadway, promises a night of entertainment filled with show tunes, sequins, and smiles.

The show is compered by Joanna Andrews, a seasoned performer with deep ties to the Billingham Players, where she began her career. Andrews shared, “Launching this new show has been the biggest risk I’ve taken with Charm Productions so far, and having the support of the theatre that felt like home as a young performer has been invaluable.”

Starlight Nights will feature music from the 40s to the 60s, along with classic Broadway hits. Special guests include Darlington’s classical crossover artist Lizzie Hogarth and Tom Daws, the charming magician from Stockton who has captivated audiences across the region.

In addition to entertainment, the show supports a worthy cause—Stockton-based charity Autism Matters. A portion of the ticket sales and all proceeds from a charity raffle will be donated. Prizes include a signed Boro shirt, champagne, and a private murder mystery party hosted by Isabelle Mumford Mysteries.

Tickets are priced at £12 and can be purchased from Stage Stubs.
