Animex is Teesside University’s international festival of animation, VFX, concept art and games. The 2026 festival runs from 16–21 November and brings together creatives, professionals, researchers, students and enthusiasts. The programme includes Animex Game, Concept Art and AVFX talks, professional workshops and masterclasses, portfolio reviews, a marketplace, Game Bridge networking, the AVFX Lounge, a Research and Innovation Conference and an exhibition. The main ticketed talks are listed by Teesside University’s official ticketing page for Monday 16 to Friday 20 November, 9am–5pm, at the Digital Life building. Individual activities have their own schedules and eligibility, so check the programme and booking page before travelling. Teesside University students are due to receive instructions for free tickets in November; public visitors can use the official booking page for currently available passes.
