A Middlesbrough business development company has expanded its reach internationally after receiving a grant to convert a derelict building into a digital education centre.

Enterprise Made Simple, which has provided business growth training in Teesside for 15 years, has utilised a £30,000 to establish a new specialist headquarters. The funding, provided via the Tees Valley Business growth scheme, the renovation of a vacant property on the Riverside Industrial Estate.

The new facility is equipped with technology that allows the company to live-stream training sessions globally. Since completing the project, the firm has begun delivering education to clients in India, Australia, and the United States, markets previously inaccessible to the team.

CEO Phil Teasdale stated that the grant enabled the company to transform a derelict site into a functional education venue, supporting both local and international growth. The expansion is expected to double the company's revenue and create new positions within the Middlesbrough office.

Tees Valley Business, established by the , provides support and funding to firms aiming to scale operations. The grant for this project was supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
