Teesside International Airport has established a long-term fundraising partnership with three regional charities to support their work through passenger donations and volunteer initiatives.

Teesside International Airport has announced a new with Alice House Hospice, the Great North Air Ambulance Service, and the MFC Foundation. The collaboration aims to support these organisations through a series of fundraising events and corporate programmes.

The will initially focus on helping holidaymakers donate unwanted foreign currency. Secure collection boxes will be installed in both the arrivals and departures halls of the airport, with proceeds being split equally among the three chosen charities.

Airport staff are also expected to participate in volunteering and in-house fundraising efforts throughout the year. The partnership is intended to provide a financial boost to the organisations, which have faced challenges in recent times.

The three charities serve the region in distinct ways: Alice House Hospice provides end-of-life care in Hartlepool, the Great North Air Ambulance provides emergency medical response, and the MFC Foundation delivers sports and education projects to disadvantaged areas across Teesside.
