Wagon Woods is Hopetown Darlington’s outdoor adventure play park, inspired by the Brusselton Incline and the story of local children helping to stop runaway coal wagons. The play area includes intersecting rail-track walkways, a chimney climb, a 50-metre boardwalk through the trees, slides and interactive features, plus a specially designed toddler area. An accessible incline track and companion slide are suitable for wheelchair users. It is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am–4pm, and also on Mondays during Darlington school holidays. During busy periods, including weekends and school holidays, tickets are valid for one hour of play. Adults attending must have at least one participating child in their party. Pre-booking is recommended, although tickets can also be bought at the Welcome Desk.
